Kevin Connors, Youth Director
Birthday: November 27, 1985
Hometown: Perrysburg, Ohio
Job: Well, I work at Zion, but I also umpire baseball and referee soccer. I get yelled at a lot at all my jobs.
Hobbies: I enjoy being outside, and while there, I like to play tennis, golf or toss the frisbee. I also like to go on road trips in my beloved car, Tealy, who is approaching 300,000 miles.
Sports Teams: I am a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, and I follow Bowling Green Falcon sports. I also follow to a lesser extent the Columbus Blue Jackets and Columbus Crew. I do like to go to Mud Hens games, and to go to high school sporting events, especially football.
Favorite Color: Orange, for sure.
Favorite Food: Pizza, PB & J, and I also enjoy grilling out.
Favorite Band: Going to have to go with a three way tie between Sanctus Real, Switchfoot and Skillet.
Favorite Verse: Proverbs 18:24, There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.
Bio: I began my call to ministry at Zion in April of 2007. I have been in youth ministry since December of 2004, where I began volunteer ministry at Grace Church in Perrysburg. I then worked at Northminister Church in Cincinnati during the summer of 2005. Afterwards, I once again was in ministry at Grace Church in Perrysburg from the fall of 2005 through the spring of 2007. After gaining much experience over those few years, I felt ready for and called to Zion's opening. I am a 2004 graduate of Perrysburg High School.
